July 10, 2021: My Dad's Birthday

One of my favourite photos of my father.

Today is my father's birthday. He would be 105 had he lived. Unfortunately, he did not live that long. Born in 1916, my father was a hard-working, loyal, dependable person. He earned a Ph.D. in university administration and his career was totally focused on giving everyone the opportunity to gain an education as he believed it was the path for everyone to follow. I miss him every single day. He died August 20, 1998. One of the things he loved to talk about the most was his basketball experiences in both high school and college.
